Welcome to my outdoor adventure page!

As you can probably tell, I enjoy the outdoors. I love hiking, backpacking, sailing, geocaching, sports, and climbing Colorado 14ers (14,000ft peaks). My good friend Jason Miller and I are attempting to climb all 54 14ers. Recently joining us in this endeavor, my son Eric has now got the 14er fever.

Next up on the adventure list.

Summer 2011 climb is set!! We will be heading to the San Juan range to climb Red Cloud, Sunshine, Handies, and Uncompargre Peaks! Jason and his son Daniel will be going with Eric, Agust and I this year! It will be Daniel's first trip with us to Colorado as he attempts to conquer his first 14er!!!

"Climb the mountains and get their good tidings. Nature's peace will flow into you like sunshine flows into the trees. The winds will blow their own freshness into you and the storms their energy while cares will drop off like autumn leaves." ~ John Muir

"Climbing mountains is hard. You often encounter adversity. But learning to deal with adversity high on the side of a mountain can help people in their everyday lives. It teaches patience, empathy, respect. And gives us great contrast with our everyday, often non-adventurous lives." -- Peter Whittaker
